Gateway to release sub $300 netbook
Gateway have today released the LT2000 in the US. The netbook is available to order from today for $299. It’s very similar to the Acer Aspire One in looks, specs and price, which is also available for $299.
Standard netbook specs include 10.1 inch display with 1024×600 pixel resolution, 160GB HDD, 1GB of RAM and the Intel Atom N270 processor. Also included is a web camera, WiFi and a multi card reader. The touch pad also supports multi touch gestures, like the Acer netbooks. The LT2000 ships in NightSky Black and Cherry Red.
