A small error on the Dell website led many sites to spread the word that Ubuntu was now a Microsoft product. Fortunately this isn’t the case though and just a small hiccup. The Dell Mini 10v was listed as having a “Microsoft Operating system” of Ubuntu, while the next model up for £50 more, has a 160GB HDD instead of an 8GB SSD and has “Microsoft Operating system” XP on it. Dell have now fixed the error and both models have “Operating System” in the specs list.
